I am partnered with a leading manufacturing company that is searching for a professional with experience in purchasing & offset management to build up the offset function inside their organisation. Having recently gone through a transformation from being de-centralised to a global matrix, they require a candidate with similar transformation experience that can be the key interface between their specialised functions, such as sales & purchasing, managing multiple large scale global project simultaneously. This role will share a dual responsibility between offset management & procurement excellence. Candidates with relevant experience in either areas are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

Offset Management

• Building up the offset management function, managing compensation transactions for multiple large-scale global projects
• Collaborating with sales, purchasing, and segment management teams to develop and coordinate strategies for implementing compensation transactions for current and future projects.
• Planning, developing, and implementing fulfilment concepts for offset obligations at various global locations worldwide, in coordination with customers, partners, and suppliers.
• Maintaining regular dialogue with international offset authorities to ensure consistent internal and external reporting on the degree of fulfillment of offset obligations.
• Designing contractual framework conditions that account for internal group legal and compliance aspects.
• Establishing and maintaining a network in the offset and manufacturing sector, as well as analysing foreign procurement markets in cooperation with strategic purchasing.

Procurement Excellence

• As a process optimization and digitalization expert, you will be responsible for streamlining purchasing and supply chain operations across the organisation. This will involve managing cross-functional projects to implement digital solutions and automate procurement workflows.
• You will also provide strategic support in developing and executing process improvements, organizational initiatives, and optimization projects, both internally and externally.
• Additionally, you will monitor and analyse business processes to identify further optimization potential and drive increased automation

Experience Required:

• 3+ years of experience in offset management within the manufacturing industry.
• Bachelors degree
• Fluent English & German mandatory
• Ability to be on-site in Augsburg at least 2 days a week, but preferably more
• Strong knowledge eSourcing & eProcurement tools
• Project management & process analysis experience
