It has uniquecharacteristics derived from the fact that it straddles IT andfacility, and that the Data Center and IT are in the middle of aradical transformation due to the combination of digitization andsurge of AI loads driving a fast growth in power needs on the onehand, and de-carbonization and grid saturation on other hand.Aufgaben The primary goal is to advance Eaton in becoming theleading company in the data center industry by managing itsreputation and sales success into complex, multi country, multiproduct, data center projects. Reporting to the Data Centre Salesdirector for EMEA. The Data Centre Account and Zone Team leaderrole will have three main areas of responsibility. A. Personal:Direct personal responsibility for selected accounts (1-2).Personally, driving profitable growth through the assigned accountsand opportunities. B. DC Segment Team: Responsibility as Teamleader for a number of assigned data center sales and accountmanagers. C. Territory: Responsible for the execution of theoverall EMEA and Global data center sale strategy across Germany. -In the Account function the person shall drive Eaton's revenuewithin large international data center operating companies,principally Hyperscale & MTDC/CoLo companies. The person isexpected to identify and book profitable new business directly withassigned clients. - In the Team Leader role, the person shall driveEaton revenue through the support, coaching, motivation andmanagement of a number of data center sales and key accountmanagers. Oversight on sales and account strategy formulation andexecution, team performance, account planning. Focused on achievinga variety of commercial targets at team and account level. Theperson shall be responsible for sales pipeline, revenue, margin,orders and all reporting and forecasting. - In terms of Territoryrole, the person is the principal point of contact (internally& externally positioned). They shall be advocate for the datacenter business within and for the territory. They shall provideand coordinating appropriate support from the wider data centersegment team to colleagues for agreed data center projects outsideof the assigned accounts (e.g national enterprise data centerprojects). These projects by nature are identified by localknowledge and market access and addressed by the general countrysales organization but on case-by-case basis support shall beafforded in order to secure business for Eaton. - The nature ofData Centre business means that opportunities may originate and besecured in one country and deployed in another. The Team leadershall coordinate with the wider data center team to report on datacenter activity, pipeline, revenue and outlook for the assignedterritory inclusive of all data center opportunities regardless oforigin and assigned account managers. - To function effectively theperson shall also work collaboratively internally with otherregional and global account managers, central account support team,bid response team, business units, functional units, segmentmarketing and country sales organizations. They shall identifywhich accounts, consultants, and contractors can influence andunlock commercial opportunities for EATON. The individual shallhave a thorough experience and a long track record of success inthe data center industry. - The person shall follow the segmentdefined processes for opportunity identification, qualification,client requirement analysis and value proposition creation. - Theperson shall oversight and is a principal stakeholder in thesuccess of associated functions for example the technical andcommercial bid response tendering process, project execution andmanagement and data center services. The team leader shall supportthese functions and processes to ensure they are to data centerindustry and client specific norms. - To perform effectively theperson shall maintain sufficient market and competitorintelligence. They shall understand client and market primarytrends and requirements and understand how competition address themand how Eaton uniquely and preferentially meets them. - To performeffectively the person shall be highly proficient at consultativeselling and at communicating Eaton's differentiated value atcompany, product, and service levels. Translating the above intocompelling value proposition and proposals to clients, contractors,and consultants. Profil Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree orHigher Diploma in Science or Engineering. Or equivalent data centreindustry experience - 10+ years of related experience in the datacenter business. Skills: - Demonstrated ability to inspire andcoordinate others. The position requires entrepreneurial spirit,high degree of customer affinity and a very strong to influenceothers. - Strong technical and engineering presence. Demonstrableknowledge of data center design and operations. - Strong executivepresence and ability to relate well as a peer to leaders of targetcustomers. - Must be able to take a leadership role in managingcomplex situations. - Must be able to identify and implement newtools and processes. - Understand when to support, when to lead andWhen to Listen and when to Direct.
