Your Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with your team and manager to architect contemporary software solutions for major IT initiatives.
- Together with your agile development team, spearhead software design, programming, code reviews, deployment, and lead migration to a microservices environment.
- Champion the power of agility. Employ agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban, constantly refining and optimizing them.
- Engineer streamlined, scalable, and robust code while creating corresponding unit and integration tests.
- Contribute to the technical design and realization of captivating product features in close partnership with our IT, product, and marketing teams.
Requirements:
- Several years hands-on experience in enterprise web and backend development, showcasing prowess in Java, Springboot, Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud (any major provider).
- Experienced handling databases, including PostgreSQL and MySQL.
- Knowledge of JavaEE and Golang are bonus!
- Demonstrate a firm grasp of software engineering, particularly in migrating to and developing sustainable, distributed IT systems.
- Ideally, bring several years prior exposure to migration to microservices.
- Possess clear, open communication skills with a solid command of German.
