General SummaryReporting to the Director, Sales DACH, the position will work closely with the Internal Sales and Technical Sales teams to drive the overall Company Business Strategy. Develops and executes Sales Business Plans and Strategies to maximize revenue growth, increase market share, and position the company as a strategic supplier to Key customers within Region.
Responsibilities- Manages customer activities within the defined region, works in conjunction with the Technical & Product
- Solutions Manager and Internal Sales Representatives to introduce the Rochester Electronics product to
- customers and to increase the customer portfolio per the agreed business development plan.
- Identifies target customers, builds relationships, and develops strategies utilizing all available resources to grow the account base within the specified region.
- Lead generation, qualifying business opportunities, and business presentations.
- Responsible for accurate and timely forecasting of new business opportunities and revenue for the region
- Ensuring CRM is utilized and maintained daily.
- Provides effective communication and service to the customer base and effectively navigates internally to priorities on active business opportunities.
- Travel within the assigned region will be expected at min. 50%
Other Duties & Responsibilities

- BA or BS Degree in Electronics related subjects would be advantage
- Proven business development, sales & management experience in the electronic component/ semiconductor industry
- Experience developing a large territory while working from a virtual office
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and an ability to influence others internally and externally
- Being fluent in German and English language is essential; any additional languages would be advantageous
- Strong Relationship-building skills both internally and externally and able to navigate and effectively manage business partners & suppliers successfully
- Proven background in developing relationships with key decision-makers and influencers, including experience in closing complex deals with customers & partners
- Flexibility and multi-tasking, ability to undertake several tasks at once and manage them efficiently
- Ability to problem solve by identifying the root cause and realizing/implementing solutions
- Ability to maintain focus with little or no supervision
- Passionate about business and willing to go the extra mile
- Positive attitude with the ability to engage and learn quickly
- Microsoft Office skills: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (intermediate to the advanced level required)
- Must hold a full current driving license
- Must be able and willing to travel
