Job Description

Planet Pharma are working with a leading, global provider of technology and service solutions that help customers measure, quantify, detect, and report in ways that help ensure the quality, safety, and satisfaction of their products

My client is a global large life science service provider seeking a Account Manager within Analytical Solutions.

As part of a consultative sales process, you are the driver of all sales activities in your region and for your product line. You advise different customers from environmental and food analysis, the pharmaceutical industry to battery research, in a targeted manner to help them solve their problems. If required, a team of application experts and service specialists will be on hand to assist you.

The task:

• Managing the sales area in the chromatography product area (GC, LC, GC/MS, LC/MS)
• Depending on individual qualifications and inclination, also support in the product area inorganic (AAS, ICP-OES/MS)
• Conclusion-oriented advice for customers
• Targeted development of new business relationships, including social media, as well as maintenance of the existing customer base
• Developing and implementing strategies to improve market position
• Product presentations at company events, seminars, trade fairs and congresses
• Collaboration with the service and support organization
• Close cooperation with key account managers, application specialists and office staff

Requirements:

• Completed university degree in natural sciences , preferably chemistry
• Expertise in analytical chemistry, instrumental analysis and also mass spectrometry
• Strong sales experience within life science industry (capital goods experience a big plus)
• Very good German and English language skills
