Channel Partner Account Manager

Job Purpose

As a Channel Partner Account Manager, you will be responsible for defining and executing partner programs designed to increase sales and recruit new partners for Object First.


Primary Focus: DACH region.

Your role will involve promoting and communicating online/offline programs and tools to enhance partner product knowledge and educational initiatives. This includes creating and implementing strategic plans tailored to the DACH region. The ideal candidate will possess a "can-do" attitude and seamlessly transition from strategic planning to hands-on implementation.

This position requires robust program and project management skills for the global/EMEA region, with the ability to understand and address partner needs, translating them into successful experiences that drive revenue growth and deepen partner engagement with Object First.


Requirements:

  • IT Partner Account Management Experience: Proven experience with distributors or vendors.
  • Sales Growth & Partner Management: Demonstrated success in growing sales and managing partner accounts.
  • Relationship Building: Expertise in establishing strong relationships with C-level executives and management.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with multiple teams across various organizations, prioritizing business activities as needed.
  • Business Plan Development: Proficiency in creating and evaluating partner business plans to achieve set goals.
  • Excellent Communication: Superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional diary management and time management abilities.
  • Driving License: Required for travel within the region.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Veeam Solutions Knowledge: Familiarity with Veeam Backup Management Software.
  • Salesforce Experience: Experience with Salesforce CRM.
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: A proactive, solution-oriented attitude.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Revenue Contribution: Engage effectively with channel partners to meet revenue targets in the DACH region.
  • Channel Plan Development: Create and implement strategic plans tailored to the DACH region.
  • Partner Relationship Management: Collaborate with Veeam ISR/Field Teams to build and maintain strong relationships with partners.
  • Partner Development: Work with partners to boost their commitment and capabilities to meet financial metrics and KPIs.
  • Collaboration with DACH Teams: Partner with Distribution Sales and Technical teams to position Object First favorably for opportunities.
  • Market Analysis: Analyze market dynamics to leverage successes and identify new sales and partner opportunities.
  • Business Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a strong pipeline of business opportunities.
  • Forecast Management: Regularly manage and update forecasts for the region.
  • EMEA Team Collaboration: Work closely with EMEA teams to share and define best practices.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish and report on metrics to measure team performance and address any deficiencies.
  • Team Management: Attract, retain, develop, and coach a team of channel, inside channel, and inside distribution managers within the DACH territory.
  • Recruitment and Training: Recruit, hire, and train team members, fostering a positive and successful team environment.
  • Leadership Collaboration: Work closely with Object First leadership and Inside Sales Reps to drive success across the DACH region.
  • Channel Development: Build high-performing, loyal partnerships within the DACH region that exemplify best practices.


Reporting Relationship and Accountability:

This position reports to the EMEA Channel Sales Director.
