What you can expect in this role

• You implement scalable, robust advertising solutions which ensures a balance between user experience and monetization on all platforms of Joyn and our digital TV channels
• Onboard into advertising standards, technologies and processes and ultimately you achieve a deep understanding of digital advertising
• Furthermore, you work on a modern tech stack consisting of Gitlab, TypeScript, Webpack, Node.JS, AWS, Docker and more
• You apply pragmatic solutions, find the right tradeoffs and seek to reduce complexity to help teams deliver and increase leverage for the organization
• Additionally, you collaborate seamlessly with a seasoned cohort comprising developers, project managers, and requirement/solution engineers to drive innovation and efficiency

Your essential experience and education

• Armed with a degree focused on IT, such as computer science, information technology, media engineering, or an equivalent field, you bring academic rigor to the table
• You've accumulated a good knowledge in JavaScript, Node.JS, and TypeScript, Familiarity with a microservice framework is a strong advantage
• You have hands-on experience in AWS and know how to deploy services in cloud environments. Furthermore, you understand key concepts of test-driven development (TDD) and have a passion to create high quality software
• Your journey spans first years as a software engineer, ideally honing your skills in an online or digital company setting
• Your English proficiency stands out, with knowledge in German as a commendable bonus
