Optimus Search is recruiting a Java Developer on behalf of a prominent financial company. The role involves working on critical financial systems, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and secure. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java development, with a focus on building high-performance applications. Additionally, familiarity with financial services, databases, and modern development practices like Agile and DevOps is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain high-performance backend services using Java and Spring Boot. ️
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and scale our logistics platform.
• Optimize and fine-tune backend systems for speed and scalability.
• Implement RESTful APIs and integrate them with front-end applications.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring code quality and best practices are upheld. ✔️
• Troubleshoot and debug production issues, providing timely fixes and improvements. ️
• Contribute to architecture decisions, driving the technical direction of our backend services.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience as a Backend Java Developer.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
• Experience with RESTful API design and implementation.
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB).
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in an agile, fast-paced environment. ‍♂️
• Strong communication skills and a team player attitude.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). ☁️
• Familiarity with microservices architecture. ️
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
